Q: I have tried unsuccessfully to install Photoshop Elements 2.0. I get an error message from the Every time I try to install PE2 on my new G4 running Panther it gags with the installer stating:
Error creating file
1008:5, -5000 Access denied error
I read in the FAQ folder the following and did it 3 times: For OS 10.2 and later:
Launch the Disk Utility application, click the First Aid tab, select a volume, then click the Repair Disk Permissions button. After that completes, run the Elements installer again.
No Joy, same probem every time. Is there a preference folder that needs to be deleted if the install has never been successful even once?
Appreciate any new ideas.
cheers jf
