Photoshop Elements 2.0 – Installation

After deactivating the antivirus and firewall software, I cannot install Photoshop elements 2.0 on Windows 2000. The Installshield box runs up to 99%, then everything stops and nothing is installed. What is the problem? Could it be that my System file is one .dll file short?

Is you Win2K up to date with critical updates? There have been some cases where the install appears to hang for a while, but if you leave it, it may finish.
