photoshop CS2 software registration problem!

every time i run photoshop i am prompted to register the software. if i try to register i get "an error has occurred". if i click "do not register", i STILL get prompted every time i run it! whats going on here?

I’ve had that happen before, but the reason for mine was because I was behind a proxy server and couldn’t access the adobe server.
