After a re-installation of Photoshop Elements 3, something changed, and now when I plug my d70 into a usb port, the photos on the card do not instantly (or otherwise) start up the Photoshop program and download.
When plugged in the D70 did not even show up as a drive under "My Computer" until I went into Disk Management under Administrative tools, (where the D70 did show up) and "Change drive letter and path" to (in this case) g:. Once having done that I can search the g: drive in Photoshop and import photos from the g: drive, but that is quit the pain in the a** compared to things happening automatically. Same goes using a card reader.
Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? Ken
