How to Import pictures from camera on to Photohop CS2/Bridge?

M S Rao – 11:27am Sep 30, 2006 Pacific

Hi Any Pro,
I am unable to import pictures from a camera or card reader on to photoshop CS2 or Bridge. I used to have photoshop elements 3.It was simple,I clicked on File–>Get Photes–> Click on from camera or card reader,to import pictures.
Is there a similar way to import pictures from a camera to phtoshop cs2/bridge. Please help.I am not very good with this modern stuff!

Thank you.

use either the camera software or xp’s scanner and camera wizard to transfer the images to your hard drive first. then open them in ps or with bridge.

opening images into a program directly from your camera risks corrupting your original images if something goes wrong.
