When working on a faded B&W image, the tool cursors fade into the background and are difficult and sometimes impossible to locate.
Is there a way to change the cursors for this situation so they can be easily seen? I am aware of the Edit-Preferences-Display&Cursors
options but cannot correct the problem by using this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Cecil,

How about adding a layer of colour, at a lower opacity (say between 20 and 50%), as a temporary measure? That would make your cursor visible and once the work is done, you’d simply have to delete this layer…

should be a feature request to change the color of the cursor. It’s been a known irritating issue for ages. I know a while back someone mentioned using the cursor trail option but that just helps you locate it. May be helpful though.
