OptIn or OptOut in boot.ini

Hi all,

what do you recommend in the boot.ini file?

Been reading about it and kind of confusing.

i’d stick w/the defaults, unless you have reason to change it…

from above link: "On Windows XP with SP2, the installation program adds /noexecute=optin to the boot entry."

what do you recommend in the boot.ini file?

I’d recommend leaving the boot.in file alone. If you have an operating system that supports it, it will be set to Optin by default.
