I am currently running CS3 on XP x64 and it’s running just fine. In fact it’s wonderful. On a Core Duo PentiumD processor the speeds are heavensent compared to the P4 3gHz, XP Home DELL I used to run on. And I had no problem just installing PS CS3 on the new computer after having used it on my old computer and on my laptop.
Thanks much for the information. I’ve used XP x64 previously and it’s certainly quite good. There were a few driver issues however they’ve since been resolved so it’s time for me to make the move. I’m also upgrading the RAM soon. Going from 3GB to 6GB total. I had hoped that Vista would have been fixed by now hoever all of the reviews are somewhat cautious at best.

I read yesterday that MS is going to be offering major discounts on Vista Home and Delux (versions??) when SP1 comes out as a result of misrepresenting the computers that it will run on. This will onlt apply to the boxed editions and no those shipped with new computer purchases.
The x64 will present you with one challenge. Finding security software that supports the OS. AVG Pro was the only one I fould, and I sell/market for Trend.
The other problem is going to be ongoing support for x64. I do not anticipate much along these lines as it wqas meant as a stop-gap measure till Vista released.
