Smart object…cant edit contents in illustrator…blank document

says it all really CS2 all the way though, but double clicking a smart object in PS opens AI up with an empty document

any clues?

What are the object’s characteristics, progress? I assume it’s a vector object, but how about color, complexity, size, origin… stuff like that?

its orginated in illustrator CS2…a circle with a simple shape on it…copied to PS, pasted…thats it. Contains a graduation, thats about as complex as it gets…really simple stuff.

Tried it with a couple of images…no show.

PS file is also RGB…AI opens in cmyk

scrap it…found the problem…its off screen for some reason.
