I’m trying to install the new update and can’t.
When I get to the CS2 Application on my drive it is greyed out. Anyone seen this?
Do I have to re-install CS2?
Or is there a work around?

Tom,

Check your splash screen in Photoshop. It’s very likely that you are already updated to 9.0.2.

Splash screen says 9.0.1.
What else could possibly be the problem?

Don’t rely on the updater.

Download the 9.0.2 update manually and apply it yourself.

Make sure you have not moved the Photoshop icon out of its folder and that you have not moved the Photoshop folder from the root Applications folder, nor hidden it in a subfolder.

Ramon,
How do you update it manually? The icon is where it should be, in the Applications folder/ Adobe Photoshop CS2 folder/Adobe Photoshop CS2. It is greyed out.

How do you update it manually?

Download the update from the main Adobe downloads page. Follow the instructions. It only involves running the update installer you downloaded manually.

Trashed the update and downloaded it again.
It worked fine.
Go figure!
Thanks!
