automatically opening photos in other programs

Please help! My computer used to be set to open all jpg, tiff, pdf, (all types) in Adobe Photo Deluxe. The other day I came across a setting page and set it up to open all my graphic files in Photoshop Elements. Now I want to switch them all back, but I have no idea what I did! I’m running Windows 98. Can someone help direct me to retrace those steps? Thanks

Go to Elements, click on file tab>file associations. Uncheck all you do not want Elements to open. If this doesn’t do it let us know.
