I moved all my photoshop images to a new machine. Loaded my Photoshop 7.0 and now when I try to open an old image, Photoshop crashes.

Any suggestions?

Also, when I installed the Photoshop onto my new machine, I got a warning to set my scratch and windows scratch on a different volume or on a separate drive. I only have one hard drive, and I don’t really know what another volume is.

With regard to your second question, set the scratch drive to C: and the popup warning will go away.

No suggestions as to the first question.

For the first one, can you open that file on another machine? Or is it more than one file that will crash the program?

What exactly happens in the "crash"?
