Hi,
When I create a clipping path in ps7 with a negative space eg; the counters for type and save the path (I use the same path, same layer) as an eps and place in Qxp the path looks fine with the counters cut out correctly. But when I send it to print or save the file as a pdf the object is clipped but counter has not being removed.

Any suggestions would be great
thanks
joe

My solution would be to stop using Quark and clipping paths and move up to InDesign and transparent .PSDs

You might not find this helpful at the moment but after you dump Quark for ID you will thank me.

Adobe messed-up the paths’ behavior.
The intention was good, but the results suck.

Set ‘object’ setting in Qxp to ‘item.’

Also Qxp>Dumpster, and, InDesignCS>Install.
