Images wont open

New weird problem. I’m in OS 10.3.2

I click on psd files from the finder (after re-booting the computer) and the timer spins, but the images wont open.

Problem seems to have gone away, but I’d love to know if anyone knows what caused it for the next time happens. It’s happened before. Don’t find any faq’s — I’m sure they’re are somewhere. Maybe when I find them I wont have to post here anymore.
