Opened Image is more bright and purple than it should be !??

When I open a picture (file/open..) just as usual..

the pic is brighter that the original and saturated a little to purple.. ??

Peter,

PS is a colour managed application. Calibrate and profile your monitor. You can do that two ways:

1. Run Adobe Gamma from the Control Panel, and save the resulting .icc file under a meaningful name (Monitor070117.icc)

2. (better) Calibrate/profile using a hardware solution like GretagMcBeth colorimeter etc. In case of the latter, make sure a previously created Adobe Gamma profile is not loaded at startup.
