In using Photoshop Elements II, images (photographs) opened normally until a few months ago and now they open waaaay too dark. IF I open them in Paintshop Pro or ACDSee, they are fine. The same images also opened just as dark in Photoshop CS that I installed last week and just as dark in Photoshop CS2 that I installed today. Any thoughts as to why images are so dark when they open in Adobe programs? (It makes it impossible to adjust contrast, color, etc. when it is difficult to see the image).
