I am new to Photoshop having just purchased CS. I have used Paint Shop Pro for years.
I started up CS and opened one of the digital photos I just took. You would think by looking at them that I didn’t use a flash with the camera. I exited CS and went to Paint Shop Pro. When I pulled up the same image, it looked perfect. Color, brightness, etc. There was no comparison.
I went back to CS and the same image is dark. I started checking other photos that I took and found that most of them appear far darker than they should. When I went to Paint Shop Pro, they all appear normal, and good.
What gives?
