I cannot use psd files in the catalog that I am working on. I am doing thousands of pictures. It doubles the time it takes to work on the photos because the program always wants to save the files as psd, then I need to change it to jpg, then I need to re-highlight the name and type it in, then do the whole thing over again when I save the picture as a smaller file. Is there any way I can change the default file for saving pictures from psd to jpg or gif? I don’t care about losing data for this project, with thousands of pictures time is the priority. Thanks!

Dr Brown’s Image Processor < http://share.studio.adobe.com/axAssetDetailSubmit.asp?aID=84 29&back=http://share.studio.adobe.com%2FaxBrowseSubmit.a sp%3Ft%3D74>

The image processor will save you time, just do the conversion after you’ve set up the files.

Save for Web will remember last setting you used, and last folder location.

Or, assuming you are doing same thing to each file before saving, record an action and play it back on entire folder of files while you eat lunch.
