I keep my files on a file server elsewhere on the network. Some of the images are quite huge, and many of the directories contain dozens if not hundreds of images.
The problem is that when I use the browser in CS to browse the directories, sometimes I have to wait forever for it to finish doing whatever it does (read the metadata and refresh the thumbnails?) before I can do ANYTHING else. This gets quite frustrating when all I want to do is move on to the next directory or open an image!
I’ve tried anything I can think of to stop it, but nothing I do works. Is there anything I can do about this?
Thanks.
