Is there some kind soul that could perhaps give me some help? I’m seeking an old copy of Photoshop, v4. There was a filter in
EyeCandy v3
that I was wanting to use and after trying to install it, the proggie told me it was looking for something in PS, which of course I
didn’t have.
Searched the web for a couple days with different search engines to no avail looking for a place to d/l a copy. As always you can’t
do this till you have that…

I’m 76 and do love playing with the computer as it is my only out with the world. Am housebound and not permitted to drive. (pitty
party, please.) Seriously, I would be ever so grateful.

Shall look forward to hearing from you and Thanks heaps just for taking of your time to read this. Till another time, God bless.

Hugs,
Granny Bee

There are a few freeware graphics programs that accept Photoshop Plug-ins, and they usually work with Eye Candy 3. That way you wouldn’t have to bother with eBay.

Here are two PS-plug-in compatible programs. They are old, but you should be able to download copies from the Net somewhere. If you can’t, email me through my website and I’ll see what I can do.

* Satori PhotoXL
* Ulead Ultimate FX

Another oldie but freebie is PhotoPlus 6. It has a nag screen that wants you to register, but is otherwise a cool program. It is sort of a stripped-down Photoshop, actually.

I have all three installed on my computer.

Paint Shop Pro (I have version 6) also accepts PS plug-ins, as do Microsoft Image Composer 1.5 and Microsoft PhotoDraw Version 2. You might be able to find a free copy somewhere.
