I can’t figure out why my layer masks aren’t 100% opaque. Help!

Here’s the deal: The last couple of days my layer masks have been screwed up. They aren’t masking at 100% even though both my brush and layer opacity/fill is set at 100%. Is there some setting I’m missing here?

I’m on CS2. Any ideas?

Is your foreround color a solid black? Hit d key to reset default black and white colors.

Yep, I’m an idiot. It was a really dark gray that looked black. I checked it just after I posted and realized my mistake. Thanks though!
