Every time I try to open Photoshop CS it crashes and tells me that "This application adobe Photoshop CS has unexpectedly quit". I have used this application many times in the past but a few months ago it just stopped opening. I have tried deleting the application and preferences and re installing it several times but this has not made a difference.

Is there anything else I can try to get the application to open or am I better off buying an upgrade and which one? (I am running a Mac OS X 10.3.9 system on an eMac)

Well you can only buy one upgrade and that is CS3. the problem is it will not run on your system you need at least 10.4.8. the other problem is Apple stopped selling 10.4.x when they started shipping 10.5 and I don’t believe it will work on your eMac.

Will Photoshop work in a new user?
