I have joined two scanned photographs.
As you can see, there is a visible area in the centre of the image showing where the images were joined, and also some slight colour differences between the left and right halves.

I would appreciate any suggestions in solving this problem. TIA.

I had help with the same thing from someone in this group. His method is to scan both halves>create a new file with the final size you need>Copy and paste both parts into the new window and reduce the lower one to about 50% or so you can match them easily>The simply erase the join and do a bit of colour matching/contrast etc to get the match between the 2 parts right.
I use this method and it works great.

FWIW, many ISP’s strip images from text NG’s even if the newbie posts them.
