I have joined together two scanned photos, but as you can see, there is a visible area in the centre showing where the images were joined. Also, there are slight colour differences between the left and right halves.
Any suggestions on how to correct the image would be appreciated. TIA.

Don’t see any images but I think I know what you are on about. You can use the mask tool and ‘feather’ the edge of one picture. When you join them together, you can get a clean join without the sharp edge by overlaping the two pictures.
