Transfer of license to mac version

I would like to dump my Windows machine (tied to a large cinder block, in the East river I was thinking) and get a Mac. However, I purchased Creative Suite CS3, the academic version, for Windows. Does Adobe support a license trasfer so that I don’t have to purchase the mac version, or just pay a nominal fee for the disks?

On the commercial versions I know for sure that they do this. You’ll need to call and ask if it can be done with academic version.

Thanks Bob. They may treat the academic version differently, but considering that they would have sold me the academic version for either a mac or a windows machine for the same price (had I made the choice before buying) it stands to reason they’ll do the same thing.
