I’m new to Photoshop, so apologies for asking what may seem a simple question.

I have an image to which I want to add, diagonally, another (white strip, diagonally, with red type, with the word "SOLD" – like estate agents do.

But though I’ve struggled for the past hour, I can’t discover how to do it.

Can anyone please advise, or alternatively point me to the appropriate part of the "Help" database?

Thanks!
