If you’ve just paid $600 for CS2, you’ve been duped. The latest version, CS3, has been out for a couple of months now at around the same price.
Notwithstanding that. If the installer is asking for a previous version, it means you have the upgrade package, not the full version.
Go back to the vendor. Get your hard-earned back, then buy the latest full version CS3 from a reputable source, or direct from Adobe themselves.
Wow, that really sucks, wish i thought about coming here… oh, a good bit back…( i didn’t even know there was a CS3 ) when i first got this lovely… upgrade… some one gave me the previous versions that i could use. but i’ve re-formatted my HD about 4 times since then, and… well, i’m screwed huh?
if you paid 600 bux you should have a ‘full’ version. upgrades for cs2 went for around 150-179.
some one gave me the previous versions that i could use.
well, i’m screwed huh?
You were screwed some time ago when you neglected to use software licensed for yourself.
Since we all paid for our previous versions and have managed to stay on top of the upgrading situation nobody here has sympathy for someone who has been using bootleg software.
