Install previous version elsewhere?

I have a full version of CS3. If I get an upgrade to CS4 can I deactivate CS3 and install it on other machines?

The CS4 license allows installation on two machines as long as they are not used concurrently. The CS4 license replaces the CS3 license and therefore you could not use CS3 as if was a distinct license.

In other words, you could not be using the CS4 installation and then have your co-worker use the CS3 installation at the same time.

I have no association with Adobe but that is how I interpret their licensing agreement.
