Used the script to remove the beta (level 1) but CS3 beta is still in the control panel (add-remove programs). No CS3 files nor folders on the computer nor in the registry. How to get it out of add-remove programs? Thanks.

reinstall the beta to the same location it was, then uninstall via add remove programs.

Thanks Dave — that doesn’t work, unable to install the beta to the original location– something about "installer data base invalid" see log files for details.

Try this it worked for me without any problems and it might work for you.

1.Go to "Run" in the Start menu
2.Type in "cmd" without quote marks
3. While in the CMD, type:
regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\jscript.dll

4. Close the CMD
5.Run the setup.exe again!

It should work.
If it doesn’t open CMD again and type:
regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\vbscript.dll
