Very small text problem

A friend of mine is using photoshop 7 and is text has gone extremely small, on 24pt it’s invisible and on 1296pt it only looks about 12pt. Please help

What is the resolution of the file?

this often happens if the resolution is less than 72 ppi

I’m not sure but I tried making a very low resolution file and got the same problem so I’ll ask him to try that when he gets on msn.
