Batch Processes and changing image quality

How can i change the image quality (say from 12 to 10) for multiple images. I know i can just go to "save as" and do this for an individual file. But is there a way to automate this if i want to do it for 100 files? i tried saving it as an action and running a batch but it doesn’t work. Ideas? I am using CS2 thanks

Record a Save As action in which the only thing you change is hte image quality. Run that asa Batch Action on a folder. Specify a destination folder and click on "Override action ‘Save As’ Commands".
