Is there a software upgrade for Photoshop Elements that will allow it to work natively in OSX?

Elements version 2 works natively in OS X, but it was not an upgrade; it came out as a new application for everybody. However, if you own version 1, I think there’s still a $30 rebate from Adobe, and you do get your money, albeit rather slowly. 🙂

Beth is correct. Elements 2 has both OS 9 and OS X versions–and the Windows version–on the same CD.

I am running 10.3.2 (Panther) and Elements 2 works great.

Thanks, Beth- this is the first time I have used a message board- I didn’t know it would be so easy & productive- what does Elements 2 cost after the rebate?

Hi Mark, Would you post the html to do this, I had it written, but lost it. Will put it on the new Mac.
Thanks,

Jane, go down to where you type in a response to one of these posts and look just above the Message box. There’s a link, "HTML", that explains how to do it, too.

Jane, here’s a page you can bookmark that explains how to make an "a href" link like Mark’s.

psssst, Mark! I think she forgot the rest of it ’cause it doesn’t work for me, either! Here’s a page that I bookmarked a long time ago. I doubt it’s the same one, but it’s got some basic info. (And I’m not going to get fancy and use HTML!)

I don’t know if this will work or not but here’s (hopefully) an example of the html code used for a link:

Adobe <http://www.adobe.com>

Note to self: code tag doesn’t work here (at least with Safari).

I’ve posted code here before, but I can’t remember how I did it. Hmmm….

BTW, the reason that I really made an effort to learn the html in this case is that when I put in a link for Amazon.com the url is so long that it throws the whole thread out of whack. The posts run the full width of my browser and makes it difficult to read. It may effect other browsers that way as well.

Joe,

I kept trying to write the code with quote marks, a tag left out, etc and still it created the link! It’s tough to do.

Mark,

There’s always tinyurl.com, in a pinch.

Here is my try,
< http://www.weather.com/maps/geography/northeastus/index_larg e.html> this is the link, and lets see if I can do the html for it. our local weather < http://www.weather.com/maps/geography/northeastus/index_larg e.html>

or weather for our area <http://tinyurl.com/2jr9o> Jane

edit, yeah, it worked, thanks! I do love the tinyurl too, as the Yahoo message board wont deal with the long ones either.
