The Adobe 30-day trial of Photoshop Elements 2 installed on a G4/2×867 PowerMac (MacOS 10.2.8) without error. When double-clicked, the icon appears in the finder, I hear much disk activity, but the application never starts, and tje menu in the dock icon shows that the application is not responding. The console log reports:
Sep 27 07:30:33 auda authexec: executing /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/Current /Support/LaunchCFMApp
Launcher: got PSN from Mover:
Launcher: sending PSN to Mover:
Launcher: Recieved Ready Apple Event from Mover.
Launcher: sending file list.
Launcher: time taken:
303
Launcher: timeout error!
Sep 27 07:30:47 auda authexec: executing /bin/chmod
When after a long wait I force quit Photoshop, the application is listed in red, indicating that it is not responding.
I’d appreciate suggestions on how to get this to run. Thanks, —
