Photoshop 7.0 compatability

I am using OS 9.0.4 on my Mac 9500 and it won’t go to OS 9.1 or higher due to a processor upgrade. I can buy a Photoshop 7 upgrade, I am now using PS6.0.1. Will it run under OS 9.0.4 or not?

I dragged out the box for PS 7:

System Requirements
PowerPC G3, G4, or G4 dual processor
Mac OS 9.1, 9.2 or Mac OS X v10.1.3
128 MB of RAM (192 MB recommended)
320 MB of available hard-disk space
etc.
