Out of the blue, my 7.0 stopped opening files, can’t create new. The program loads/opens fine and appears to be ‘working’ but when I click on a file to open nothing happens – no error msg nothing. Installed CS2 – and SAME thing. Have tried uninstall/reinstall, updates etc. (Image Ready will open files) I have XP, use a laptop etc. Any ideas? Thx –

did you get the dialog asking you if you want to reset the settings? or did you delete the file manually? it sounds as if a dialog is off screen…

Got the dialog box and tried that first; when I went back to check manually it was still there so I deleted it manually – and that remoced them. I’m losing so much work time that we are going to uninstall and reinstall Windows and then try CS2, adding back programs to see if any cause the problem….
