Have PS-CS & Windows XP. I seem to remember choosing which file formats I wanted PS to open. If that is true, I must be able to change my choice. When ever I try to open a pdf file, it goes to PS and then I get the error that it has restricted features and needs the password,of which there isnt any. I would like PDF files to open in Acrobat reader 6.

Easier said than done. But I’ll try. In Acrobat 6, when I would open it, there was a screen that said Acrobat was not set to view PS files in Internet Explorer. It asked if I wanted to change, I said yes and don’t ask again.
That’s it, hope you can understand what I did. If not I will try to explain further. Maybe I can find the screen that I told , I didn’t want to see again.

In a open windows folder, go to tools, go to file types, then change the file association.
