According to "Classroom in a Book":

The file browser can display certain info about digital images if the camera exports EXIF data.

1.What is EXIF data?
2.Is this the only format that will display data? Is there a way to display data with a .jpg/.tiff file?

Thanks!

EXIF displays information about digital camera settings and date/time of shooting. For instance: it shows aperture, exposure time, flash setting etc. In addition to that, it also shows extra info after editing in Photoshop, like colour space.

EXIF stands for exchange information file, if I’m not mistaking. But it is not a separate file, it’s embedded in the image file. Rob.

Do you know what file formats support it?

Thanks.
