I have received a file in CMYK. I need to change this file to a two color file. Can this be done without recreating the complete file? We have Windows XP and Photoshop 5

Joyce,

There are a few ways to do this. It really depends on what you want it to look like, and what the file looks like.

Any chance you can post a JPEG of the file and let us take a gander? We can probably give you more specific advice that way.

A site like Pixentral ( <http://www.pixentral.com/> ) is an easy way to post an image. Just upload the file and post the URL back here.

I don’t have the file. We had to pass on this job because we didn’t know how to do it and the person wanting it done had someone in California do it. Just don’t want to miss an opportunity for the next job if it can be done.

The file was a pdf file that they had.

Thanks
