Hi, I just downloaded the CS2 tryout and everything looks pretty cool…with the exception of one thing. When using the Polygonal Lasso tool and click say…on the right side of an image and zoom in with the + key, it stays focused on that spot as it zooms in. However, if I zoom out with the – key, it zooms out and jumps to the vertical center of the image instead of staying at the previous point. So I have to scroll back over there to continue my selection. I know this must be an easy fix since I couldn’t find anyone post about the problem, but for the life of me I can’t find the option in the preferences or anywhere else in the program to make it work like it did in PS 7. I tried it on two different WinXP computers and had the same issue with both. Thanks in advance for your help!

P.S. Is there anyway to increase the useable RAM past 1.7gb? I have 3gb in my computer now, and Windows XP sure doesn’t need 1.3gb to operate. I’d rather use at least 2 full gigs for PS.

Yeah, that was just an afterthought after I typed the original problem. The first part is what I really need an answer for…the second was just an unimportant "By the way…" type thing. So, where I go to set the Polygonal Lasso to zoom out properly? Thanks!

There is nothing to change the zoom. It sounds like a (minor) bug.

Crud…I guess I’ll be stuck with PS 7.0 until it gets patched up. Thanks for the help.
