I do not know what has happened. I installed this program on my Laptop, running XP Home and it worked fine. Last night I went to use it again after not using it for a couple of weeks, and I can’t launch it.

I have deleted and re-installed the program, but no luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Noel

Does it give you an error message?

I too have had no problems using this App until today. My PC acted strangely upon booting up, then my HP printer disappeared from my Windows 98 printer file and I can’t reinstall it because I can’t locate the drive. Then, when I downloaded my files from my camera to the PC, I was unable to open the Adobe App. I receive a message that the application needs to be personalized. What does that mean? I can’t reinstall as I purchased this Online and downloaded the file. How do I resolve this problem?

Are you sure you haven’t picked up a virus? Or are you using something like Norton, which seems to have an effect on many programs with many systems.

B.R.,

Could be a virus as Bob says. Do you run anti-virus software? If not, there are sites that will check your computer for viruses.

You ought to have the original file you downloaded from the internet, perhaps in your download folder? If you didn’t delete it, just uninstall and reinstall. I don’t know about Adobe, but for example Symantec allows one several downloads per purchase just in case a reinstall in necessary. I just made sure to save the download so I could reinstall from my own machine if need be.
