When I had A Canon D30 downloading Raw files directly into Photoshop 7 was no problem. Now with the Eos-1D MK2 I cannot do this. It tells me it cannot find the camera. Why? Am I doing something wrong. Please help as My job requires using Raw files. Thank you. Steve

What do you mean by downloading?
The CameraRaw Plugin should be able to open 1Dmk2 FIles but maybe you need an update of Camera Raw. Are you still using PS7?

Professional cameras from Canon have a different interface. You can use the TWAIN interface to either import your data into PS or you can transfer the images to your PC disk and use the RAW import facility.

You are a lot faster if you transfer the image files using a card reader and avoid reading from the camera.
