How do you back save your psd 7.0 Photoshop files to Photoshop 5.5?! I can’t find it anywhere. Export only lets me export to Illustrator, and Save As won’t let me select any different versions.

I’m sorry to ask, but I looked in the help file and on the faq’s and in the forums here, but I couldn’t find anything. I don’t think I know the right terminology for it, is the problem.

Just save the file as PSD.

PSD doesn’t have versions.

PSD files are compatible back to Photoshop 3.0, for all features that work in the older versions (so text may not be editable in the older version, and 16 bit layers can’t work, etc.).

Chris,

Weren’t there changes to some blend modes from 5.5 to 7.0?
