hi i am new to using photoshop and i just wanna know how to have and image with lines…………..if you still dont know what i mean please visit highfonts.com and the top banner is designed this way………..please let me know soon………thanks

They’re called TV Lines or Scan Lines. You can google it and find at least a hundred tutorials or automatic styles.

If you go to Adobe Exchange (the expert center) you’ll find actions and styles that can automatically create them yet let you tweak them.

And you can always make them yourself with Filter>Halftone, Pattern Type: Line. (Why does everybody forget this one?)
