Hi Forum People,
I have two instances of Adobe Gamma Loader in my XP Pro startup folder. I do have PS6, AI10 installed.
Before I do any damage, could someone tell me if deleting one is a problem? One is listed as "Adobe Gamma Loader", and the other listed as "Adobe Gamma Loader.exe"
Can I lose one? Which one should I get rid of?
Thanks!
Gary

Gary,

Keep whichever one you prefer and delete the other. If you want to verify this by checking the properties for each shortctut, they should both be pointing to the same file. I had the same thing happen and cannot remember for certain what the cause was, but I believe it was a Photoshop update that created "exe" labeled shortcut. When a shortcut is created, it is normal for the file extension to be carried over into the shortcut name, but it just clutters up the name in my opinion.

Regards,

Daryl

Sure enough, they both point to the same file.

Thanks Daryl!
