cs3 didn’t load and cd won’t come out

Hi,

I was never able to make photoshop cs3 work very well on my g4 os 10.4.11, so I tried it on my son’s g5 os 10.5.4.

Long story short…. The directions were too complicated, for me, and somehow I failed the install and then the activate/un-activate and uninstall.

Now I can’t get the cd out of his machine because "all applications need to be quit", but there are no applications running.

How can I get the cd to eject from a macBook white? Should I write to the apple forum instead?

restart the computer

that should quit any process that the OS is running.

now you should be able to eject.

But have you looked to see that everything connected to the CD is not being used? Like a text document Read Me File.

Also you said your sons G5 but then you mention a MacBook?

When you reboot, hold the Mouse button down during the re-start and the CD should then eject.
