Hi, attached is a jpg of a Turkish rug, and within the white box is a blowup of a section. This is one of eighteen rugs which, with blowup pics, will be appearing in a client’s brochure.

Both pics were taken by the same person at the same time, and developed into slide film at the same time and place. However, the slides were scanned to disk on separate occasions, and I think this must be the
problem.
I’m not sure if you can tell from this low-res image, but the colour difference between blow up and rug is vast.

Without re-scanning both rug and blowup, is there any way to get the two looking as if they are from the same rug?

Pick a color from the image you want to match, then use curves to match the corresponding color in the other image.
