Text appears to be black but then prints odd different colors

I have been printing text in pictures for a while with no problems. Suddenly, when printing the text on the Epson 2200, it appears black on the screen and preview and then prints in …white, green, other odd colors. All the settings say the text is black. When I print it on my junk printer, it is black. I am not sure why this spontansously started happening. All the other black in the picture is accurate and there is enough black ink. HELP
