Does someone know why ?

Polar to rectangular works perfectly,
rectangular to polar is limited to 48 Mo.

The OP is french – Mo (MegaOctets or similar I believe) = Mb (Megabytes)

Yes – because the math for it was written in 1990 and breaks above a certain size (it’s not megabytes, but pixel dimension that affects it).

It’s been on my list of things to fix for a while now…
