Can we flip one layer horizontally, or vertically, without affecting the other layers?

Edit / Transform / Flip Horizontal

Yes, select the layer. I have done this, and usually turn off the "eye" on the other layers when I do it (I don’t now why, just to make it more clear LOL) I have also transformed one layer (selectred) like rotated it a bit or resized it, etc. I think layers are pretty much independant of each other when selected,.
