adjustment layer to affect 2 or more layers?

Help please – answers very much appreciated.

An adjustment layer can be grouped with the layer below to affect just the one layer – or left ungrouped to affect all layers below. How do you make the adjustment layer affect 2 or more layers without affecting all other lower layers??

Put them all in a Layer Set and change the Blend Mode from Pass Through to Normal. That’s one way. There are others. You can mask out areas as well if that is convenient.
